INTERIM pastor

For the last 30 years, Chad has been in ministry serving in a variety of ways. He has served as an Assistant Pastor, planted 2 churches, Celebrative Arts Pastor, Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor and has served the Great Lakes Region of the Wesleyan Church developing/assessing other pastors, Interim Pastor, and giving oversight to the church properties that have closed. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and has a Master's degree in Organizational Church Leadership. He continues to serve the Great Lakes Region, is a Hospice Chaplain for The Medical Team in Grand Rapids, MI and a Chaplain for the Michigan State Police. His wife, Tracy, of 30 years, is also an Ordained Minister within the Wesleyan Church and she currently works for Weight Watchers, Int., as a Coach and Adjunct Trainer, and also works with Pregnancy Resource Center as an Education Instructor. They have 3 adult children who are all married to incredible spouses. With that, they have 2 grandchildren and 2 more on the way. One of his greatest desires is to be a source of encouragement for others and to invest in them so that they reach their full potential and live out their God given dreams.

Tammi shymanski

Administrative Assistant

Tammi is the consummate "church lady".  She attended Calvin College for one year a long time ago, but graduated from CMU with a B.A. in Business, Accounting major.  She is happy to be a part of the daily activities that comprise a piece of the life and work at Knapp Church.  Tammi and her husband Dave, have 3 mostly delightful children and two rowdy cats (or vice versa).



Stu is our general handyman and custodian. He is also proficient in computer technology and enjoys helping the other staff and worship department out from time to time. Stuart is an avid bicyclist.  He and wife, Sue, have two daughters and two grandchildren.
